Medical Office Manager - To Healthy Feet Podiatry

To Healthy Feet Podiatry is seeking a medical office manager or experienced medical assistant to serve as a staff manager for our growing professional office. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the general administrative functions in the office and for supervising medical assistants in their role.

The ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience working in an office supporting multiple levels of employees. He/she greets visitors and should present an accessible and approachable tone as well as have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will take initiative and can anticipate needs to best ensure the efficient operation of the practice.

Responsibilities: 

• Management – Supervise, monitor, and delegate work to medical assistants as needed. Ensure the office is running smoothly and efficiently. Ensure providers are supported with adequate staff.
• Supervision – Management of medical assistants with the following responsibilities and providing support as needed:
  • Medical Assisting – Provide patient-care services as needed and assist in surgical procedures.
  • Administrative duties –  Answer phones, take messages, and greet patients. Prepare charts, check patients in and out, and schedule appointments. Verify insurance, and track inventory needs
  • Supplies and Inventory – Order and maintain all medical and office-related supplies.
• Training – Organize onboarding programs for new employees.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree or above is preferred
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Three years of previous Medical Assisting and Office management experience
• Superb communication skills

Salary:

• $52,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits
