Position Title: Medical Office Coordinator
You are an organized and proactive professional who excels in managing office operations, ensuring a seamless and productive environment for staff and visitors. Your attention to detail and ability to handle administrative and supply management tasks make you the go-to person for your assigned location.
This position pays: $25–$28 per hour
Location: Oakland, CA
Schedule: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
What you will be doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues.
- Greet and assist visitors, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Monitor and maintain medical supply inventory, discard expired items, and ensure accurate records.
- Coordinate courier deliveries, employee supply requests, and patient orders promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, including meeting room setups.
- Manage office supply inventory and place orders to avoid shortages.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and manage outgoing mail services.
- Answer and direct calls professionally, providing backup phone coverage as needed.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Previous experience in an office coordinator or similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Drive, Docs, and Sheets).
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience handling PHI.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with team members and visitors.
