Job Summary:
Responsible for performing clinical testing in the general laboratory, Blood Bank, and Microbiology sections, ensuring accurate and timely results. Duties include:

• Conducting quality control and performance improvement.
• Performing proficiency testing and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Recognizing abnormal critical values and notifying medical team members.
• Handling clerical, general, and phlebotomy tasks.
• Dispensing blood products as requested by medical staff.

Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program. Must have MLT (ASCP)/(AMT), CLT (NCA) certification or eligibility. Licensure as required by State and registration as MLT(ASCP) or equivalent within 60 days of hire.
