Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician perform laboratory tests; interprets test results; documents and reports test results; maintains equipment, instruments, and tools.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree Medical Laboratory Science or in chemical, physical or bio logical science OR Associates degree in medical technology

- ASCP, AMT , or AAB certification OR be eligible for certification

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is a 276-bed acute care facility offering specialized, tertiary services. SVBGH is the region’s only Level III Trauma Center and home to Sentara Heart Center, which is the portal to a sophisticated array of quality cardiac services with outcomes that surpass national standards.
