• Daily Operations: Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
  
• Quality Control: Review and maintain quality control records to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.
  
• Preventative Maintenance:Conduct and document preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
  
• Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory tests, procedures, and results.
  
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
  
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results for patient care.
  

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  
• Experience: Minimum of one year experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician in a hospital laboratory setting, including experience in a Bloodbanking area.
  
• Licenses/Certificates:
  
• Certification by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required.
  
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained during the first week of employment.
