Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Office Medical Associate to join our team at DAMON B. RASKIN, M.D., INC in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice. Responsibilities include warmly greeting patients, coordinating appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate patient records, and performing various administrative tasks to support both staff and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and professional environment for patients
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to optimize practice workflow.
• Accurately maintain and update patient records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with administrative duties, including handling phone calls, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient interaction and customer service.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and standard office procedures.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in computer systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is highly preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in healthcare administration or medical assisting are a plus.
