Summary
Our busy and growing practice is looking for a conscientious and friendly Medical Receptionist for full-time (4 days/week) at our West Knoxville office. The successful candidate will be a team player with solid clerical skills and a passion for taking care of people.
Qualifications:
- Excellent people skills with great eye contact.
- Neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant voice.
- Good keyboarding skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greets, engages, and communicates well with patients and their families.
- Works with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Serves in check-in, check-out, and medical record roles.
- Answers telephones responding to inquiries or routing to appropriate staff.
- Performs insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
- Appointment scheduling, reminders, and confirmation.
- Documents and updates demographic and clinical data in EMR.
- Other clerical duties as required or assigned.
