An established healthcare system in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team as a Clinical Risk Manager!

About the Opportunity

• Location: Bronx
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Specialty: Risk Management
• Reporting to: the Director of Risk Management and the Chief Quality Officer

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Risk Manager will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day risk management activities of the Quality & Risk Department
• Assisting in the planning, direction, and coordination of activities of risk identification, prevention, and evaluation
• Providing recommendations for action to prevent and/or reduce the frequency and severity of events to improve the quality of care and patient safety and reduce the risk of financial loss
• Investigating, managing, and analyzing risk management data in accordance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies, including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the New York State Department of Health
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related work experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• Master's Degree
• Risk Management background
