As our dedicated medical director of rehabilitation, you'll play a pivotal role by offering your expertise in physiatry to our affiliated skilled rehabilitation facilities. Your main responsibilities will include:
As our dedicated medical director of rehabilitation, you'll play a pivotal role by offering your expertise in physiatry to our affiliated skilled rehabilitation facilities. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex physiatric-related medical conditions in the SNF and LTC population.
- Performing specialized procedures such as large joint injections or Botox.
- Travelling to our affiliated facilities in Buffalo
- Providing oversight and support to our team of APPs.
- Taking on minimal administrative duties including attending monthly quality meetings, occasionally conducting an in-service for staff, and liaising with our referring facilities to educate about the physiatry programs we offer at these facilities.
- Average daily workload: Approximately 6 hours.
- Patient Interaction: Seeing 16-20 patients daily, with rounds typically consuming 2-3 hours.
- Flexibility: Notes may be completed from home.
- Compensation: Estimated total compensation between $300,000 to $400,000 which includes a $250k base salary plus easily achievable bonus based on productivity, including a directorship stipend for administrative tasks and support to our team of APPs.
