Overview
AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to lead out as the Medical Director of Melanoma, Sarcoma with AdventHealth Medical Group in the beautiful Orlando, Florida.
- Experience in programmatic building within Melanoma Sarcoma would be required.
- Development and deployment of tumor specific pathways and standards of care as well as the clinical/translational research agenda.
- Dedicated administrative time.
- Access to world renown research team, clinical trials, tumor boards.
- The ideal candidate will have experience and interest with an inpatient/outpatient setting.
- Rotation of call would be shared with the other oncology physicians in the practice, including weekends.
- Orlando is the referral center and quaternary hub for our system across the state of Florida and the US.
- In the Orlando practice it is a team of 6 experienced medical oncologists, 8 APPs, nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc..
- Extended network of 6 other medical oncology sites surrounding Orlando.

Requirements of the position include:
Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
