Our Award Winning Client, an esteemed national organization renowned for its excellence in healthcare, is currently seeking a dedicated Medical Director for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly in Fayetteville, NC.
Qualifications Required:
- Doctorate degree
- 1+ years of experience working with Frail or Elderly population
- 1+ years of Supervisory Experience
- Valid Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- All of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
Overview: Our Award Winning Client, a national leader in healthcare, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Director for their program. The successful candidate will oversee participant care, ensure clinical outcomes, and provide medical direction within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct history and physical assessments on new participants and reassessments
- Develop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Educate participants and families on health maintenance
- Supervise health care and treatment program
- Participate in provider on-call rotation as required
- Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests
- Provide general medical direction and supervision of participant care
Schedule and Shift Details:
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no on-call required
Screening Questions:
- Do you have a Doctorate degree?
- Do you have a minimum of 1 year experience working with the elderly population?
- Are you Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine?
- Do you have an active NC license or are willing to obtain one?
- Are you willing to complete Fellowship training or obtain a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine prior to start?

- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - REQUIRED
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Geriatrics - PREFERRED
- Active NC license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained (to be completed prior to start) or Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- CDS Certification (by time of start) - REQUIRED
- DEA (by time of start) - REQUIRED
- BLS (by time of start) - REQUIRED
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population (add to "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
