Job Description :
The person hired for this role will work out of our Sacramento office and support the Greater Sacramento, Greater Central Valley and Greater Central Coast Markets. Candidate must live a commutable distance from these markets and will work on site as needed.
EDUCATION:
Doctorate
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
6 years recent relevant experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
MD-Doctor of Medicine M.D. or D.O. Degree with Post Graduate training in Occupational Medicine
DO- Doctor of Osteopathy M.D. or D.O. Degree with Post Graduate training in Occupational Medicine
MRO Certification Physician MRO-Medical Review Officer within 6 months of hire
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
+ Knowledge of treatment and prevention of disease.
+ Good rapport, able to build trust with patients
+ Ability to retain primary treating physician status
+ Ability to oversee and influence cases that are referred to specialist(s)
+ Ability to assess permanent disability under AMA and write PR-4’s
+ Ability to close cases with the patient when additional treatment is not beneficial
+ Ability to effectively collaborate with other staff.

Pay Range is $129.79 to $207.67 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
