About the Job
Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG) in New Jersey is expanding its endocrinology department and is seeking a Medical Director of Endocrinology to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG), the Medical Director of Endocrinology will provide clinical leadership while exemplifying the mission, vision, and values of the organization. This role involves championing new initiatives, guiding quality assurance efforts, and ensuring excellence in patient care. Our group currently consists of five endocrinologists, two nurse practitioners, and a dedicated ancillary staff, including diabetes educators.
CHMG offers comprehensive endocrinology services at our outpatient offices located in Hopewell, NJ; Bordentown, NJ; and Lower Makefield, PA. As part of the Capital Health System, our providers benefit from access to a wide range of in-house diagnostic testing and ancillary services. These include a full-service laboratory, DEXA scans, thyroid ultrasonography, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA), vascular diagnostic testing, and neurodiagnostic testing for diabetic neuropathy, among others.

Opportunity Details:
- Provide leadership and clinical expertise within the endocrinology team.
- Champion new organizational initiatives and facilitate their implementation.
- Serve on and lead hospital and medical staff committees.
- Establish regular reporting mechanisms to monitor clinical activity.
- Collaborate with the operations team to address variances and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
- Work with the team to achieve, measure, and report quality outcomes.
- Develop best practice guidelines and adhere to industry standards.
- Foster interdisciplinary cooperation across Capital Health.
- Ensure financial targets align with both short and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with departmental partners in the development and supervision of operating policies and procedures related to service line expansion.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree, Board Certified in Endocrinology (NJ and PA)
- Experience in clinical practice and administrative leadership
