We are seeking an experienced and compassionateMedical Director (DVM) to lead our team in Wasilla, AK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian with strong clinical and management skills who is committed to excellence in patient care.

About the Role:

The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinic management, including patient care, staff development, and financial operations. This role demands clinical expertise, independent decision-making, and a proactive approach to clinic management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality medical care to animals and oversee all patient treatment plans.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans, surgery, and medical protocols.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Manage clinic finances, including budgeting and expense management, to ensure sustainable operations.
• Ensure the clinic complies with all regulatory standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
