Position Summary:
The Medical Director holds a crucial leadership role overseeing Critical Care within the hospital. Collaboration with the physicians and leadership is imperative to implement operational policies and procedures which impact on the provision of medical services within the organization. Develop and implement appropriate quality metrics and initiate process improvement plans while collaborating with Director of Operations and other leadership. Will have clinical and administrative duties within this position. Serves as the collaborating physician for mid-level providers within the department.
Responsible for seeing and treating patients of the practice by providing clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical services within the Physician’s specialty. Performs medical services in accordance with professional standards prevailing in the community and currently approved methods and practices, including the code of ethics of the American Medical Association and the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: MD/DO
Experience: Must have 3 years experience in Critical Care setting. Leadership is preferred, not required.
Licensure/Certification: BC in Critical Care.
