Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on various medical devices.
- Ensure all job-related documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate ideas, issues, and solutions to management in both written and oral formats.
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers, including visitors during tours.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices for all operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, quality, and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability of parts, traveler documentation, and quality assurance.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual and team performance metrics.
- Support all divisional initiatives, including those related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
- Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle and maneuver small components.
- Ability to make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent prioritization skills to determine the sequencing and timing of tasks.
Dress Code:
To maintain a sterile and safe production environment, the following dress code is mandatory:
- Clothing must be non-shedding, clean, and free from contamination such as dirt, lint, and visible fibers.
- No sweaters, loose fiber garments, fleece, or high-necked clothing; sleeves must not extend beyond lab coat cuffs.
- Shoes must cover toes and heels (no sandals, clogs, slippers, or open-toe/heel shoes); heels cannot exceed 2 inches.
- Jewelry, body piercings, nail polish, artificial nails, or makeup (except unscented lip balm applied outside production areas) are prohibited.
- Skirts at ankle length are allowed, provided full-length stockings, leggings, or pants are worn underneath.
- Follow guidelines for headwear (bouffant required) and accommodate custom dress if covered appropriately.
Safety Requirements:
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure proper wound care and cover open or bleeding wounds with bandages.
- Avoid wearing any item that could be deemed offensive or dangerous in a sterile environment.
