We are seeking a skilled Medical Coder to support our client's revenue cycle department with precise coding and billing processes. This role starts with onsite training and offers the potential for a smooth transition to a remote work setup.
Responsibilities:
Accurately code claims and ensure compliance with coding guidelines.
Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to rectify coding errors and recommend optimal codes for billing procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CPC Certification is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems.
Skills:
Ability to thrive in an independent work environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Capable of making informed decisions under tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated capacity to meet productivity targets set by management.
Previous experience in behavioral health coding preferred but not essential.
Compensation:
Hourly wage: $22.00 to $28.00.
