Contract opening with our client for a Medical Claims Processor.
Looking for someone who possesses a high level understanding of US healthcare and payer landscape along with at least 1 years of medical order processing or insurance benefits verification. Any experience with diabetes related account processing would be a plus.
As a Medical Account Processor, you will be responsible for handling medical order processing, verifying insurance benefits, and ensuring the smooth operation of accounts related to diabetes therapy.
Medical Claims Processor - Diabetes Therapy - 24-00259

As a Medical Account Processor, you will be responsible for handling medical order processing, verifying insurance benefits, and ensuring the smooth operation of accounts related to diabetes therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Process medical orders for diabetes therapy products and services accurately and efficiently.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed to ensure coverage for therapy and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the US healthcare and payer landscape, with a focus on diabetes therapy.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage account information, track order statuses, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurers, addressing any account-related inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and legal requirements related to medical account processing.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- 1+ year(s) of experience in medical order processing or insurance benefits verification, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- High level understanding of the US healthcare and payer landscape
- Knowledge of diabetes therapy and management preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of account processing.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong team spirit and the ability to work independently.
