Medical Billing Specialist. - Gentle Heart Recovery LLC.

We are seeking a dynamic Medical Billing Specialist to join our Corporate Office team. This in-person position, Monday to Friday, involves working with insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely payment for services rendered.

Job Duties:

• Verify insurance and benefits for HMO, Medicaid, and Commercial payers.
• Submit claims and follow up promptly.
• Handle payment postings and reconcile electronic medical records with billing records.
• Conduct monthly and year-end reconciliations.
• Communicate with Managed Care Organizations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree with 1 year of experience.

Skills:

• Intermediate Excel and word-processing skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
