JOB TITLE: Billing and Accounts Specialist (This is an in-office position).
STATUS: Full Time.
HOURLY RATE: $25-$28/hr depending on experience.
SCHEDULE: M-F 8:30-5:30.
REPORTS TO: Business Officer.

Premier Pediatric Therapy Source (PPTS) is a fast-growing therapist-owned practice with a big vision and strong passion to serve families within the DMV community, offering Occupational, Physical, Speech and Nutrition services to children birth to 18 years of age. We are looking for a dedicated professional with medical billing and A/R experience that enjoys being part of a team within the office setting and will share in our vision as well as play an integral role in the practice’s next phase of growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revenue cycle billing including claims submission, claims resolution, A/R for both payer and client accounts and generating client statements.
- Reconciliation of account ledgers.
- Authorization management.
- Assisting the Business Officer with financial projects that support growth plans as well as program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coverage at the front desk, as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AA Degree or higher. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable.
- Knowledge and adherence to the laws and ethics of health insurance billing and HIPAA.
- Proficient in modern office technology and computer programs including Electronic Medical Records, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Successful completion of an FBI Background Check.
- Negative TB test.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Rehab/Habilitative therapy billing experience.
