Medical Assistant - HumanHire

HumanHire is collaborating with one of the largest multi-specialty medical practices and Urgent Care systems in New York to identify a Medical Assistant for their Syosset office.

This provider has 40+ locations throughout New York State & offers competitive pay with opportunities for growth!

What's in it for you?

• Location: Syosset, NY
• Pay: Up to $26 per hour, based on experience (plus benefits & weekly pay!)
• Schedule: Wednesday 2pm – 8pm, Thursday & Friday 8am – 8pm, Rotating Saturdays/Sundays 9am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Record patients' medical histories, vital signs, and other pertinent health information
• Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing

Qualifications:

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• *MUST BE VACCINATED*
• Medical Assistant or EMT certification
