Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established healthcare provider, for multiple Medical Assistant & Scribe positions. Job Description:

We are looking for Medical Assistants & Scribes to support providers in both front and back-office duties. The role will start with a mix of administrative and clinical tasks, gradually increasing in medical responsibilities as candidates become more integrated into the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and record vitals
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures
• Document patient history and input medical chart notes
• Provide support with front desk tasks, including answering phones as needed
• Transition into expanded back-office duties over time

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program or National CMA certification
• OR LPN certification in place of MA credentials
• Active BLS/CPR certification through Red Cross or AHA
• Up-to-date immunizations, including:
  • MMR (titers or proof of 2 doses)
  • Varicella (titers or proof of 2 doses)
  • TDaP (within the last 10 years)
  • TB test (within the last 12 months)
  • Flu vaccine (if in season)
• No COVID vaccine required
• No marijuana testing

Additional Details:

• Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks (pending background check, drug screening, and clinical testing)
• Training: Two weeks, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (location changes weekly)
• Shifts: 12-hour (8 AM – 8 PM) or 16-hour (8 AM – 12 AM) shifts
• Work Locations: Alternating between two main clinic sites on a rotating schedule
