About the Job
Benjamin Liess ENT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) practice that includes ENT, allergy, and audiology departments. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our medical team in the care and treatment of patients, as well as performing a range of administrative and clinical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, update patient medical histories, and schedule appointments.
- Assist with patient intake and vitals measurement.
- Provide clinical support for provider during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider, ensuring accurate dosing and following up with patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain patient records and assist with charting and documentation.
- Assist with sterilization and maintenance of clinical equipment and supplies.
- Answer phone calls and return messages in a timely manner.
- Set up prescriptions and refills.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and post-treatment care.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to improve patient experience and outcomes and clinic efficiencies.
- Collaborate with all medical staff (including audiology) to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an ENT practice is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- The hours are 7:30-4PM Monday through Thursday. We offer a competitive hourly rate.
