$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS
30 hours per week:
Monday: 6:45AM-4:00PM
Tuesday: 6:45AM-4:00PM
Thursday: 6:45AM-4:00PM
Friday: 7AM-12:00PM - Libertyville, IL
Summary:This position provides quality patient care by assisting the physician with clinic specific tasks, including rooming, vitals, injections, and point of care testing and treatment. This position reports to the Clinic Team Lead or Regional Manager.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and Job Duties:•Greeting and rooming patients•Completes brief history and documentation of the reason for the visit•Accompanies Clinician into exam and scribes diagnosis and treatment plans•Provides basic patient education•Assisting the Clinician with routine exams and surgical procedures•Manages patient messages and phone calls in a timely manner•Organizes and prepares exam rooms, maintaining a clean, safe and well stocked environment•Administers routine medications, including: injectable and topical•Refills medication and obtains prior authorizations as directed•Schedules appointments as needed•PhlebotomyQualifications:
Education:
Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse (Non-Certified Medical Assistants will need to complete the Forefront Derm Tech certification program within the prescribed time period and maintain certification upon expiration).
Post High School education in a medical support field:
Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
- Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
- Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
- Must possess organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
