Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist - Lawrence General Hospital

Provides general and clinical assistance to Surgical Services patients. This includes reception and triaging of patients, collecting blood samples, taking vital signs, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated MA competencies or equivalent MA experience gained through any of the following: MA Certificate. Associates degree in Medical Assisting. CNA (or LNA), EMT, PCT certificate.
• Must have outstanding customer service attitude and demonstrate a commitment to professional behavior
• Phlebotomy Certificate
Preferred:
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
