Please click here: https://youtu.be/MrNWtn42prYBenefit HighlightsMedical, Dental, Vision with In-Network & Custom Network discounts401(K) with discretionary employer matchPaid Time OffFree clinical diagnostic laboratory testing if performed in houseStrong performance and attendance may result in a six-month and annual pay increase!Essential Job FunctionsConsistently attends work on time and maintains regular attendance.Builds and sustains effective, positive relationships with team members, supervisors, and patients.Efficiently rooms patients within 4-6 minutes, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction, contributing to timely patient visit starts.Communicates proactively with the care team to facilitate a smooth and successful patient care flow.Accurately captures and documents patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, weight, height, oxygen levels, and pulse.Reviews and updates patient medication and allergy information, ensuring accurate records.Accurately records the patient's chief complaint into the electronic health records (EHR) system.Prepares charts thoroughly, including pulling Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) reports and organizing necessary consents.Assists with patient discharge, providing a clear and comprehensive after-visit summary.Completes room turnover by cleaning and restocking supplies to maintain a ready environment.Ensures examination rooms are fully stocked and promptly notifies supply personnel of low items.Supports providers with minor procedures by setting up and breaking down sterile procedures.Independently conducts EKGs, injections, vaccines, ear irrigations.Completes controlled medication tasks with precision and adherence to protocols.Makes complex phone calls requiring skilled communication, discretion, and decision-making.Trains other Medical Assistants and completes special projects to support Praxis Health's ongoing improvement.Takes on additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or ACA, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.Minimum Qualifications:Education:High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), or a diploma from an accredited vocational institution, community college program, or equivalent.Experience:At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred, but we value experienced candidates and offer comprehensive training and support.Preferred Requirements:Current CPR certification.Up-to-date health records, including appropriate immunizations for the healthcare field (Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis).About Us:Praxis Health is a family of medical groups providing high quality healthcare throughout the state of Oregon.
