About the Job
Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Medical Assistant to join our client's primary care/outpatient team in Omaha, NE - 68111. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position.
Pay
$20-$23 per hour
Qualifications - Education & Experience
Required:
- At least 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.).
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- 6+ months' phlebotomy experience.
Preferred:
- EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
- Experience working with geriatric patients.

- Have a high degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, driven and focused work ethic.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work effectively.
- Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors, and market leadership.
- Have strong communication that is customer-oriented.
- Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.
- Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and presentation software.
- Ability to travel on occasion for meetings.
