Regional Vascular & Vein Institute:
We are searching for a professional medical assistant who is a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program and displays a strong commitment to the team and those that we serve. This position will support our physicians and staff clinically by rooming patients and/or assisting with minor procedures and administratively by triaging calls, responding to medical requests, completing medical forms as well and being a liaison between providers and office staff. The ideal candidate will be a team player dedicated to delivering quality care, in a compassionate, meticulous, consistent, and efficient manner, in combination with a strong commitment to treating everyone within and outside of our practice in a respectful, kind, and helpful manner.
Duties include:

Duties include:
- Escorting patients to exam rooms.
- Obtaining vitals.
- Interviewing patients to obtain a medical history, confirming the purpose of the visit, and verifying information.
- Thoroughly completing documentation in the EMR system.
- Prepping charts by ensuring all related reports, labs, and information are obtained, filled out, and available in the patient's medical record prior to appointment.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Completion of Medical Forms.
- Attending to provider, patient, and non-clinical staff needs/questions/concerns related to patient care.
- Willingness to learn to assist physicians and prep patients for in-office surgeries and procedures.
- Cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Medication refills.
- Stocking rooms and monitoring supplies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- A flexible team player committed to each other's success.
