Medical Assistant - PrimeCare Medical, Inc.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to work part-time on the day shift in the Medical Department at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester, NH. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties including but not limited to:

• Maintaining examination and treatment areas
• Verification of medications and medical information
• Maintain medication records
• Answer telephone and processing calls
• Maintain filing system and confidentiality of information at all times
• Provide full administrative and clerical support to the medical department at the facility to include typing of various reports, letters and memorandum
• Data Entry
• Scanning documents into the computer
• Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires
• Maintain staff log
• Schedule transports
• Assist with billing
