We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:
Minimum Requirements:

- Traveler must meet all minimum requirements below to be considered.
- Do not submit traveler who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment. Traveler will automatically be declined.
- Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:
- Join the Vascular Surgery and Podiatry care team as they provide expert screening and treatment for a variety of conditions including peripheral venous disease, peripheral arterial disease, and compartment syndrome.
- Independently provide basic wound care and assist in advanced podiatric care to patients with complex vascular wounds.
- Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
- Participate in the ongoing education of our patients regarding lifestyle changes, wellness, and treatment plans.
Minimum Requirements:
- Facility Requirement:
- Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile including resume/work experience, all onboarding disclosures/questionnaires).
- Experience:
- Minimum two years experience required as Certified Medical Assistant.
- Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience including rooming patients and taking vitals.
- Epic experience highly preferred.
- Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
- Licensure and Certification:
- Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN.
- BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or
- In lieu of the above requirements, two (2) years of recent Medical Assistant experience and current CMA, RMA or CCMA certification.
- Reference
- Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
- Floating
- Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
