Job Title: Medical Assistant/Nurses Station

Reports To: Medical Assistant Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and stock patient care and procedure rooms.
• Act as a liaison between providers and patients.
• Provide nursing care under supervision.
• Care for clinic equipment and accessories.

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification in Pennsylvania.
• Two years of office experience preferred.
• Clinical expertise in gastroenterology nursing.
• Current BLS certification and ongoing education participation.
• Compassionate and professional patient interaction skills.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Full range of motion, manual dexterity, and normal sensory perception.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

• Clean gastroenterology office environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases and clinical chemicals.

Additional Duties:

• Assist during procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Document patient care and follow up on appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
