• Perform clerical and clinical duties under the direction of a physician and or registered nurse
• Clerical duties may include scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and maintaining medical records
• Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patient for examination, and administering medications as directed by physician

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous job experience in delivering exceptional customer service
• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent); Current or must be attained within three (3) months of hire
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements

• Previous similar clinic experience
• Previous experience with EMR systems
• One year experience in physician’s practice
