MUST be certified or Registered
EKG Experience required
Injections Experience required
EMR experience required
Strep Testing Experience
Flu Testing Experience
DUTIES:
Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Performs and properly document procedures
Administers medications using proper technique and documentation as prescribed by the physician
Acts as liaison between provider and patient
Performs sensory screenings as indicated by pre-written parameters
Assist with procedures
Maintains medical equipment in proper working order
Front Desk Tasks as needed
Communicates plan of care to patients as directed by provider, including test results, scheduling of specialized tests, treatment modalities, prescription drug instructions and other patient education
