Pay from: $20 Per Hour
MUST:
2+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant diploma or registered or certified
Strong phlebotomy skills
Comfortable triaging phone calls and making pharmacy calls
Ability to administer EKG's and manual BP's
Administering injections
Assisting with exams and procedures
Comfortable stocking and maintaining rooms
Wound care experience and bandaging
Experience processing referrals including prescriptions
Experience entering and updating patient information in EMR
DUTIES:
The duties of the call center Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following:
Room patients
Obtain vitals
Administer injections
Generate prescription requests for approval and forward to pharmacies
Review treatment plans
Perform ECGs
Operate and maintain O2
Bandaging and wound care
Clean and stock rooms
Process prescription requests
Scan medical records
Take messages for physicians and forward
