Medical Assistant - IJRR Clinic - Full Time- 8 hr - Days - Mon-Fri. - Washington Hospital Healthcare System

Salary Range: $32.99 - $37.50

Position Summary:
Under direction of the Office Manager, handles all back office preparation for patient care. Assumes accountability in the methods/policies/standards of IJRR Clinic In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.

Qualifications:
High School Graduate diploma, diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, write and comprehend English and Medical Terminology required.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Completion of a Medical Assistant Certification Course required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification required.
2-year minimum on the job experience preferred, specifically knowledge in Orthopedic Surgery office preferred.
Familiar with working in an EMR (Epic) preferred.
