Medical Assistant FT - United Surgical Partners International

Cascade Spine Center has an immediate need for a full time Medical Assistant! At Cascade Spine Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. Job Summary: The Medical Assistant (MA) will work under supervision with oversight from a registered nurse. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Director of Nursing.

• Front and back office duties.
• Assists medical providers-and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the practice policies and procedure.
• Great communicator able to deal tactfully and professionally with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
• Operates telephone system including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, identify nature of business and call.
• Performs clerical duties including distribution of mail and messages, monitoring office supplies, and maintaining postage meter.
• Assist with chart preparation.
• Assist with Admissions. Check in pre-op patients. Copy identification and insurance. Communication with Pre-Op nursing staff.
• Provide relief to Admitting, Office Assistant, and Scheduling as required

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must have front and back office experience.
• BLS required.
