Exciting Opportunity for a Traveling Medical Assistant (MA) at CareOnSite!

CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company, is a leading provider of occupational medical services nationwide. We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel to client sites throughout the area, with occasional out-of-state travel required.

Position: Medical Assistant (MA)

Pay Rate: $19 - $22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, and drug/alcohol testing
• Perform basic lab tests, prepare specimens, administer medications/injections, conduct blood draws, and apply splints/dressings
• Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and ready for patient care
• Assist medical providers during examinations and procedures
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phones, and maintaining patient charts
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and safety guidelines
• Conduct COVID-19 screenings, including temperature checks, questionnaires, vital signs, and testing
• Support both front and back-office operations as needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) course
• Medical Assistant (MA) certification as per State Medical Board requirements
• Current BCLS with AED certification
• Clinical experience is a plus
