Pay From: $19 per hour
MUST:
1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant diploma and if not certified or registered willing to become so
Experience rooming patients and obtaining vitals
Comfortable responding to emails and messages and working nonclinical as well as clinical
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Administer immunization
Experienced and proficient with EMR (MedConnect or IDX a plus)
Ability to obtain vitals and room patients
Experience obtaining pre-authorizations
Process labs and prescriptions
Hard working with a positive attitude
Experience triaging patients
Confident with clinical ability
Strong customer service skills
Must have the ability to pick up new skills easily
Must be proactive, detailed and organized
DUTIES:
Duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Rooming patients
Obtaining vitals
Administering injections
Assisting with exams and procedures
Triaging patients
Processing Labs
Assist physicians with exams and procedures
Enter patient information into computer system-EMR
