Responsibilities:
- The Medical Affairs Coordinator will organize and coordinate IIS study discussions with internal decision-making committees, Investigators, and MSL to assess and approve programs.
- Oversee and monitor all aspects of the IIS process, including concept evaluation, approval, contract preparation, study execution, and close-out activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Scientific Review, Operations) and manage access to study drugs (when applicable).
- Send SUSAR updates to IIS investigators as directed by the global PV team.
- The Medical Affairs Coordinator will manage departmental meetings for IIS reviews, including logistics, agenda preparation, facilitation, documentation of outcomes, and follow-up on action plans.
- Collaborate with the MA Team and Finance to initiate purchase orders and monitor financial expenditures against budget.
- Provide project management support for Medical Affairs (MA) activities.
- Maintain Mondays system, a data warehouse tracking all medical projects.
- Oversee reporting and maintain dashboards for Medical Affairs activities across the department.
- The Medical Affairs Coordinator must assist with publication planning and annual medical planning under the direction of the Senior Director.
- Exercise discretion and judgment consistently throughout daily tasks.
- Collect inquiries from the ProPharma Medical Team and forward them to relevant departments such as Quality, Medical, and PV.
- Foster effective cross-functional communication among various MA contributors and leads to using appropriate communication methods.
- Develop and maintain presentation slides, spreadsheets, summary documents, and databases related to operational and strategic plans for the department.
Qualifications:
- The Medical Affairs Coordinator must hold a relevant degree
- Must have 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience from a pharma manufacturing background.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and operational management skills.
- The Medical Affairs Coordinator must have a solid understanding of Medical Affairs and compliance requirements related to the function.
- Knowledge and application of data sources, reports, and tools for creating actionable plans.
- The Medical Affairs Coordinator must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
