About the Job
Minimum of High School Diploma, college degree preferred.
Experience in a medical office responsible for data entry and general administrative experience required.
Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology, and a basic understanding of clinical pharmacology preferred
Ability to enter medical data quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment required. Typing skills 50+ wpm preferred.
CPR certified or willing to become certified through an accredited program
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.)
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
Maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
Flexibility and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings, and weekend days.
