Job Description

Role and Responsibilities.
- In a highly process oriented environment, maintain AV equipment in the facilities so that they are ready/operational for meetings and conferences prior to start times.Manage an aggressive schedule of meeting preparation, equipment break/fix resolution, root cause analysis for failure and continuous improvement through system management.Contribute to the success of a highly customer focused work team by rapidly responding to business partner needs with live meeting technology concerns to ensure they are as productive as possible using the communication and collaboration tools.
- Support high level executive, critical and large meetings utilizing AV media and conferencing systems.Setup, test/prepare for large events where AV Media equipment is required.Operate equipment successfully during events, often having only one opportunity to get it right.
- Manage metrics and risk and controls as designated, all process governance aligned to those metrics are maintained.Prepare internal processes for managing audits against these processes while capturing metrics and report back in meaningful/actionable ways to the team and leadership.
- Actively support audio/web/video conferencing technologies for multi-site meetings.
- Provide vendor management advice/coaching for 3rd parties and on site technicians.
- Cross train on multiple systems and be able to provide coverage for our team's solutions.This includes but is not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, audio/video recording/editing, unique integrated room systems installed in different buildings, audio control / sound systems, video switchers, audio mixers, camera technologies, and video encoding / streaming.
- Resolve and document complex issues including root cause analysis, prevention and workarounds of Encryption related issues including Decryption and Recovery of endpoints.
- Report generation, Query setup and Dashboard population.
- Service Change Request generation and implementation as per ePO change control process.
- Daily operations duties related to the management and maintenance of the workstation infrastructure in the production environment for McAfee Disk Encryption
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Technical degree in AV Media or Communication Technologies with 3-5 years' experience or have a bachelor's degree with specialty in one or more of the following: Business Communications, Media Production, Management Information Systems.
- Proven ability to work within and be engaged by a highly process driven work environment.Has worked independently, in a variable environment under self-direction with minimal supervision. Proven ability to coach and mentor others.Experienced at working collaboratively with other partner teams outside of their team.Proven experience delivering superior results in a highly customer focused environment.
- Previous experience in service delivery team for a globally deployed/enterprise level solution.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot live AV media and conferencing issues quickly to ensure meeting productivity.
- Has previously demonstrated ability to self-motivate, lead others to action and hold others accountable.
- Has worked successfully in an environment with variable hours including occasional high peak times for service delivery.
- Advanced working knowledge of a variety of audio/web conferencing solutions including integrated AV control technology (AMX/Crestron), video conference bridging and endpoint operations (e.g. Polycom/Tandberg/LifeSize), DLP/LCD and visual display systems (projectors), control room technology operations for live media production (pan/tilt cameras, video switchers, audio mixers, signal routing to media sources)
Preferred Skills
- Familiar with project management and/or process management methodology.
- Familiar with ITIL best practices and process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Experience with Microsoft Lync.
