Job Description: We are actively seeking an experienced Media Planner to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Media Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated media plans that align with our brand values, purpose, and vision, ensuring consistency across all platforms. This role will manage media planning, pacing, and reporting for programmatic and direct-sold programs, in addition to custom content buys, covering display, native, and OLV media. The person in this role will also help coordinate marketing-related projects on the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic media plans, in alignment with our vision of becoming the trusted fabric of the financial system.
2. Manage the RFP process from start to finish, including the creation of media plans, planning against advertising availabilities, and the avails check process, and applying and managing audience targeting segments in our DMP.
3. Own the creation and/or pre-launch of all deliverables including tags, assets, click-thru links, and any other material(s) needed to set up/successfully launch campaigns.
4. Handle the pacing, optimizing and reporting for sold campaigns, including wrap decks, screenshots and media placement decks for clients.
5. Collaborate closely with ad ops and billing teams to ensure smooth media buying and invoicing for all sold campaigns.
6. Ensure all campaigns are set up for success to hit their impression and click goals, making strategic optimizations and changes as needed.
7. Track and report monthly on revenue targets and campaign goals.
8. Coordinate client conversations, projects and internal team meetings as needed to move programs forward.
9. Ensure that every media plan is not just addressing client needs, but also reinforces our brand positioning as a technology company redefining the capital markets.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
2. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in media planning/buying.
3. strong understanding of digital media and traditional media planning elements.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Basic understanding of ad trafficking, some familiarity with Google Ad Manager, DV360, ad metrics, and pulling reports in Excel
7. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently.
