Position Purpose:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work positively with students and staff
- Computer application skills
- Ability to work with audiovisual equipment and computers
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of libraries and school district procedures
- Lifting up to 20 lbs.

Speaking, hearing, manual dexterity (coordination of eye/hand for such activities as typing, calculating, work processing and the like), bending/stooping, sitting, walking, reaching/pushing/pulling, lifting 20 pounds, carrying, standing
Performance Responsibilities:
- Works under limited supervision.
- Performs clerical duties including filing and data entry using Microsoft Excel.
- Uses the automated circulation system to circulate books and other media center materials.
- Helps with re-shelving materials and helps supervise student proctors.
- Assists students in using the library information systems.
- Helps maintain, circulate and use audiovisual equipment and manages and coordinates library and computer lab reservations.
Terms of Employment:
10.5 month position/8 hour day; salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Support Service Personnel
