About The Position

BPN Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a MS Surg RN to fulfill a 13-week contract at a facility in the Washington, DC. area.
Essential Functions Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes. Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Requirements/Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Skills Required: Cerner Required, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Heparin Protocols, Surgical drains, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac,
- Skills Preferred: PCA, Charge Nurse Experience
- 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
- Must have 1 prior travel assignment
