About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical Float **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years, with 1 year in the specialty required unless stated otherwise **License:** MO or Compact licensure must be in hand upon submission **Certifications:** CPI Blue Card required for all Behavioral Health RNs and LCSWs **Must-Have:** - COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - Flu Vaccine (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) **Job Description:** - Every other weekend (EOW) schedule, with 50% holiday rotation. - Must provide 2 professional references in the profile at submission from a charge nurse or above. - Floating is mandatory; nurses may be required to float to various units, including: - ICU may float to PCU or Medical Surgical (MS) units - PCU may float to MS or ICU units - MS may float to MS/Tele - Pediatrics may float anywhere within the organization as a Patient Observer (sitter) - Post-Partum may float to MS units - Labor & Delivery may float within Maternal/Child - Previous travelers returning within 18 months do not require re-orientation. - Orientation consists of 8 non-billable hours. - Familiarity with Cerner is preferred. - Local candidates may be accepted at different rates, confirmation required per job posting specifics. - Travelers can begin the assignment with a pending CPI Blue Card and complete the course onsite free of charge, but hours spent completing the course will not be paid.
