We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our innovative healthcare team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a generous $20,000 sign-on bonus. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. You will be working in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest medical technology, where ongoing professional development and career advancement are strongly supported.
Responsibilities:
As a Medical/Surgical RN, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivering exceptional patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients at all times.
2. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
3. Monitoring patient's condition and progress, and reporting any changes to the physician promptly.
4. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
5. Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding post-treatment home care needs.
6. Documenting patient interactions as per the facility's protocols and procedures.
7. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
8. Participating in professional development activities and maintaining current knowledge in the field of Medical/Surgical nursing.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
1. Current and valid RN license.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse or Med Surg Registered Nurse.
3. Exceptional clinical skills with an emphasis on patient care.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
7. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
8. BLS/ACLS certification would be an added advantage.
