Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mid-Level Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Manhattan Beach. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both remotely and in-office. The ideal candidate will be barred in California and have at least two years of experience handling medical malpractice cases or similar litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution, including client interviews, legal research, drafting pleadings, and attending hearings.
- Work closely with clients, healthcare providers, and expert witnesses to develop case strategies.
- Conduct case assessments and provide clients with clear guidance and representation.
- Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration where applicable.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and trial preparation.
Preferred Experience:
- Deposition experience is preferred but not required. Candidates who are eager to gain deposition experience will be provided opportunities for mentorship and skill development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active member of the California Bar.
- At least 2 years of experience in medical malpractice or related litigation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with some days required in the Manhattan Beach office.
