Job Description
Mechanical Test Technician. This position is for a temporary contract that will last between 3 to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Test Setup and Execution

- Prepare test specimens according to instructions.
- Set up and operate mechanical testing equipment as instructed.
- Conduct mechanical tests on samples as instructed.
- Monitor test parameters and adjust as needed during testing.

- Accurately record test data.

- Adhere to established quality control procedures and standards.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or non-conforming results.

- Follow all safety protocols related to handling test samples, operating equipment, and working in a laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- High level of precision and accuracy in data collection and recording.
- Ability to document test results clearly and concisely.
- Primarily based in a laboratory environment with exposure to various mechanical testing equipment.
- Involves lifting and handling test samples.
- Adherence to safety protocols is critical.
- High School Diploma
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Previous experience as a mechanical test technician or related role is beneficial but not required.
Additional Information
Compensation:
- $27.00/hour to $30.00/hour (Depends on experience).
- Temporary position, 3-6 month duration
- Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
