Job Description

Mechanical Test Technician. This position is for a temporary contract that will last between 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities:

Test Setup and Execution

• • Prepare test specimens according to instructions.
  • Set up and operate mechanical testing equipment as instructed.
  • Conduct mechanical tests on samples as instructed.
  • Monitor test parameters and adjust as needed during testing.

Data Collection and Analysis

• • Accurately record test data.

Quality Control

• • Adhere to established quality control procedures and standards.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or non-conforming results.

Safety Practices

• • Follow all safety protocols related to handling test samples, operating equipment, and working in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• High level of precision and accuracy in data collection and recording.
• Ability to document test results clearly and concisely.

Work Environment

• Primarily based in a laboratory environment with exposure to various mechanical testing equipment.
• Involves lifting and handling test samples.
• Adherence to safety protocols is critical.

Basic Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Previous experience as a mechanical test technician or related role is beneficial but not required.

Additional Information

Compensation:

• $27.00/hour to $30.00/hour (Depends on experience).

Schedule:

• Temporary position, 3-6 month duration
• Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
