Summary/Objective: Serves as the primary liaison between Customer, Program Management, Foreman and assigned Leadman ensure accomplishment of all assigned work. Ensures the accomplishment of all contract requirements and ensures the accurate and timely reporting of all data needed to support business needs, as assigned.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reviews and understands Basic Work Specifications before commencing the job/project.
- Ensure all applicable references for specific jobs are on hand and saved.
- Processes reports, reviews quotes and contracts for induction to ensure accuracy and to ensure work being performed is in line with customers original scope of work estimate.
- Communicates with suppliers, customers, own company employees and others to ensure contract requirements are achieved.
- Supervises assigned employees (either as direct reports or as a functional program team), to ensure accomplishment of all duties and compliance with all internal/external procedures as applicable.
- Assist EHS/QA Department in the processing of quality issues with in-house and subcontracted production personnel to ensure final product/service meets specifications.
- Maintains detailed schedules, financial records, software data, etc., to control all aspects of program.
- Responsible for ensuring jobs/projects properly opened and processed in TRAC, to include:
- Saving answers for IDRs and making sure they are saved in ERP System.
- Following up for answered IDRs.
- Sending and follow-up for COCs.
- Invoicing
- Closing jobs - Ensure all records are saved correctly in ERP System prior to closing.
- Submits request to HR for ship access lists for STANDARD employees and subcontractors.
- Issues purchase orders to Suppliers.
- Ensures the creation monitoring and updating of production work schedule.
- Conducts kick-off meetings with all personnel assigned to production team to ensure all parties fully understands the work scope. Attends all routine meetings and provides all routine status reports/updates.
- Ensures Work Approval Form (WAF) is submitted to the Ship Force prior to proceeding with work operations.
- Coordinates temp services install at the worksite, if required.
- Conducts at least weekly surveys of all active job sites with Foremen.
- Responsible for contract budget performance (labor, material, subcontractors).
- Responsible for submittal of Condition Found Reports (CFR) for any encountered delays.
- Verifies WAF is closed after completion of the job
- Other related duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in ship repair supervisory role commensurate with expected duties.
- Understand the Naval Ship Repair requirements and working environment
- Proficiency in standard office computer software
- Must be able to work in the US.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid California driver's license.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requires 40+ hours of work per week. M-F 0600 - 1430 (or as otherwise assigned by General Manager) with pre-scheduled overtime as needed.
Work Environment: This job operates in an office environment and shipyard work environment.
Travel: This position does require ability to travel.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be available to work at heights, confined spaces and have ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes.
May involve carrying objects that weigh up to 50 lbs., frequent stooping, bending, crawling, reaching, and walking.
