Summary: Mechanical Project Engineers sought for immediate hire to manage crane projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery from conception to completion.
Job Responsibilities:

Design and analyze below the hook lift devices.

Quote job opportunities in coordination with the sales team.

Manage entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

Supervise subcontractors and technicians for project execution.

Plan material orders and oversee deliveries.

Ensure adherence to deadlines and budgets aligning with customer expectations.

Conduct field data collections.

Comply with Simmers Crane Design & Service, customer, and OSHA safety policies.

Create necessary documentation as per customer requirements.

Work both independently and collaboratively in various environments.
Requirements Skills/Abilities:
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.

Prefer candidates with engineering and project management experience.
-
Demonstrated organizational skills with a keen eye for detail essential.

Proficient in technical software including FEA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required.

Excellent communication skills coupled with strong customer service orientation necessary.
-
Flexibility to work in diverse settings including office environments, outdoor conditions, and elevated areas mandatory.
Additional Notes:
Candidates must be comfortable working at heights. The role involves 70% office work and 30% fieldwork. Experience using CREO is a plus; however, candidates proficient in Solidworks will also be considered. Drug screening and background checks are prerequisites for employment.
Pay Details: $32.00 to $42.00 per hour
